Van Gogh

‘Painters — dead and buried — speak to succeeding generations through their work’ wrote the Dutchman Vincent Van Gogh (1853-90). His brief ten years of creativity can be traced through these pictures and a remarkable autobiography in the form of 755 letters to his brother Theo.
